Sound Mixer Workshop

 This lesson was to get an understanding of the basic tools of Adobe Audition. We were given a simple short cartoon and a collection of pre-recorded sounds to work with. The most difficult part of this editing task was that there was not a single audio track that went with the polar bears footsteps, instead we had to cut out individual footsteps and line up each step with the bears on screen. The workshop made me realise the amount of time it takes lining up and editing audio tracks so they work in sync with the video files and it is something that I should take into consideration when it comes to putting the portfolio together as recording the sounds is going to be easy, it is the assembly that will be difficult.
